Biography
During her 15 year PR career, Lorna has held several senior in-house communications positions with brands including Marriott, Trainline and Thomas Cook. She was Head of Communications at Thomas Cook Airlines and at the heart of the PR team during Thomas Cook’s collapse in September 2019. Today, Lorna runs her own independent consultancy Surge Communications, working as an outsourced Head of Communications to support businesses with consumer communications, corporate affairs and crisis management requirements.

Biography
Phil has delivered award-winning digital, consumer, corporate and trade PR in agency and global in-house roles across the travel industry for over 20 years, including at Virgin Holidays and Cheapflights, part of KAYAK. He now leads integrated corporate and consumer communications in the UK for dnata Travel Group, owner of Travelbag, Netflights and Travel Republic, among others, and part of the Emirates Group.

Henry is a former travel journalist with over 25 years’ experience of journalism, PR and news distribution, and is a recognised communications expert. He lives in Sussex and is a keen photographer, naturalist, and Beatles fan.
